My Favorite Food

Hello everyone, today I going to written you about the food, specifically my favorite food. To start, I must say that this food is well-known for most people and it is not of easy preparation. Yes, is the lasagna, particularly with the Bolognese sauce. There is my favorite food. Why? Because its ingredients, separately, are delicious; and mixed be made up of a best things in the world. Generally, every foods that from of Italy – for example, pasta and all kinds of noodles- are delicious for me and the lasagna represents this. Unfortunately –for me- I don’t usually eat much this food (twice at month), because with my family, we like change and vary the foods that we eat. But, if depend of me, I would eat lasagna all days, all weeks and all months of the year. I would live only on lasagna. I remember the first time that I eat the lasagna, I was a child and I didn’t want taste it, because it didn’t look good. Finally, it became in my favorite food of life.

I have always believed that photographs should represent a moment, capture a scene and show the intensity of the second where it is taken. But now, I feel that this special significance is stained by the falsehood of people who only pretend to appear to raise their followers and "feel good." Basically the photograph, today, only shows the superficiality of the people who need to fill a void. That is why the photo that I chose represents a historical and painful moment for Chile, because it occurs in the post earthquake tsunami of February 27, 2010.    The photograph shows a man holding a torn and muddy Chilean flag, standing in the midst of total destruction: fallen trees and roofs washed away by what was the tsunami in Pelluhue. The image was captured by the photographer Roberto Candia and the man in the photo is Bruno Sandoval, a craftsman from Talca who arrived in Pelluhue and lost the cabin in which he was living due to the tsunami. ...
